Calcium Silicate Insulation
Calcium silicate is an inorganic, asbestos-free, incombustible rigid thermal insulation
material. It is lightweight, but has high mechanical strength and excellent chemical
and weather durability, and low thermal conductivity. It is recommended for use as
thermal insulation of piping and equipment in the power generation, petrochemical,
steel mill and process industries, as well as ceramic, cement & glass industry or fire
protection in building construction. It can also be specified to use in furnace as
backing material of refractory bricks.

Three forms of calcium silicate, pipe, board and preformed block, can be supplied.

Characteristics
•        Low bulk density, light weight
•        High compressive strength
•        Lower thermal conductivity
•        Asbestos free
•        Excellent thermal-resistance
